This is not the best pho place in Maryland, but if you're hungry and in need of pho and close by, it's not a bad option. It's run by a Chinese family, so don't expect authentic pho, but they put in lots of meat and the veggies are fresh, and the only complaint I have are the noodles are often stuck together and require some pushing around to separate. The spring rolls are pretty standard and I like their peanut sauce. The rest of the menu is like a standard chinese restaurant, all lo mein and stir fry, so I have never gotten anything else there except the pho. The large is pretty big and I'm usually satisfied with the small, but if you don't specify, they will give you the large bowl. If you're gonna ask for really complicated things, there might be a language barrier, b/c their English is not the most fluent. Bottom line, good place for emergency pho, but there is better elsewhere.

The pho here was pretty good. The broth was really good, but there wasn't too much meat in the soup. We also ordered the summer rolls, which were big, but again didn't have much meat in them. We had iced coffees, which were big, but they took a long time to be brought out to us. We were halfway through our meal before they came out. We ordered a bubble tea to go, but they didn't have anymore bubbles left for the order. Overall, the place was okay, and we'll be back when in the area.

The pho is NOT very good. I kinda figured when I walked in and they were speaking Chinese. The fact that some people liked it means they have no idea what pho is, unfortunately. But being Vietnamese I can tell you there's better. I don't know if you can find better in Maryland, but you can find better.

Decent Pho. I enjoyed the broth. It was very flavorful and hot ( temperature). I always hate eating the raw bean sprouts and the broth here was hot enough that my beans sprouts was fully cooked within a few minutes. It's really hard to find a noodle place that actually have steaming hot broth. The portions of the pho were much smaller than I expected, however it's a fair portion for the price you pay. It's around 6.75 for the small pho and 7.75 for the large. Staff was friendly and service was prompt. I had to visit the MVA and had about 35 minutes to eat and I was in and out within 20 minutes. There was also TV that had CNN playing through out my visit. The owner seems friendly as he was constantly talking to regulars.

AMAZING PHO. I will qualify that statement with the fact that I lived in Hawaii for a year and ate in China town multiple times per week there and experienced all the authentic Asian cuisines and Pho joints that they had to offer. I am somewhat misled and angered by the other reviews that have condemned this restaurant and prevented me from trying it for so long. I wish I started eating here long ago, but didn't because my fellow Yelpers dissuaded and misguided me. I am here to tell you that this place does Pho right. I honestly just think the good folk of Glen Burnie MD wouldn't know a good Pho if it reached out and bit them in the... Face? Also, whoever knocked the spring rolls has no idea what they're talking about. The spring rolls here are great. Since when were extra vermicelli noodles a bad thing??? I will definitely be back to this place.

Good Pho, excellent bubble teas or rather smoothies. The pho portion of the menu is a little difficult to comprehend, it is a long list of all the combinations of meats possible.

Ye Gawds, this place is absolutely pathetic. I thought that Pho Miss Saigon further down Ritchie Highway was awful, but that place has gourmet cuisine next to this joint. Simply hideous. This place served up what is probably THE saltiest pho broth I have ever eaten in my life. It was nothing but sodium, and my mouth actually burned from the amount of salt that was left behind on my palate. It was pretty close to being inedible, and I left a good deal of it behind. Those who know me and my pho addiction KNOW that I never leave behind any pho - and especially not the broth. If I leave even a drop, it was extraordinarily bad. Very skimpy on the meat, too. It was pretty much clumpy noodles and liquid sodium. Nothing more than that. Oh, gah, I'm actually cringing remembering it. I had requested pineapple boba, which they were out of - as a matter of fact, they were out of all "green boba products". Uhh.... okay, sure. I'll have a coconut boba instead. Unless that's green, too... Pho 98 also gets the award for the worst boba I've ever had. All liquid and no bubbles. And what bubbles there WERE, they were in a massive, unattractive clump at the bottom of the cup. Just BAD, okay? No other word to describe it. Pho Miss Saigon is no longer the worst pho restaurant in the Gee-Bee. Pho 98 now has that distinction! Ugh. I'm wincing just thinking about how my mouth felt from all that salt. Hardly anyone in the place, too. Now I know why. AVOID.

I have come here before and have had awful service. I have also gone and got "okay" service. It really depends on what servers are working that day. The pho comes with hardly any meat, but the broth is alright. Nothing spectacular. Depending on who is waiting on you, you have to beg for water refills and the side of basil that normally comes standard at other Vietnamese restaurants. I wish they would start selling avocado smoothies because I would actually find this place worth the frustration. Their boba bubble tea with the iced tea plus condensed milk is tasty though, again, depending on who is working. You will literally get ten boba pearls in your drink though... but plenty of ice. :(

Extremely Lacking All Around! The Waitress was eating her Lunch at a Table behind me by the Entrance. Mistook her for a Customer until she came to take my Order. Second time I've been to a Vietnamese Restaurant with Hispanic Wait Staff, no issues with that, I love Cultural Blends! Unfortunately at this one, I immediately knew my Order would get Lost In Translation, though. You got a Latina Waitress whom barely speaks English, and Asian Owners and Cooks whom barely speak English. Talk about a Communication Gap. There were other Patrons dining when I arrived, but I eventually found myself in an Empty Restaurant. After they Bussed all the Tables the Staff disappeared as well. I ended up Waiting at the Counter for 5+ Minutes to ask for a Box and Cash Out. I could have pulled a Dine & Dash, but I'm not the Type. Never been to a Vietnamese Restaurant or any Restaurant which a Counter was left Unattended, but then again there's a first time for everything. Good not Great Food can be countered with Exceptional Customer Service! There are plenty Restaurants I frequent that serve Good not Great Food, but I return because the Service is SPECTACULAR and when one Feels Good the other things seem to not matter as much. Great Food and Terrible Customer Service leave a Bad Taste in my Mouth and I've had a few of these Experiences which those Restaurants are never Revisited or given a Second Chance. Maybe this Restaurant was having an Off-Day, I say that because of the other Stellar Yelp Reviews I have read...And Maybe their Bun Bowls and Com Plates are better...Unfortunately, I will never know because of the Service, or lack thereof! Order - Coca-Cola Classic - Ice Cold Can with a Cup full of Ice. *SWIG "AAAAAHHHHH!!!" Finished in the middle of my Meal. I would have LOVED a Second Can! Even if they didn't Check-In on the Meal, I could have at least asked for one if the Staff was around! Goi Cuon - Warm which means it was Freshly Prepared, but it should be Served Cold, no Big Deal. The Sauce Failed Miserably, should be a True Peanut Sauce NOT Hoisin Sauce Topped with Crushed Peanuts, but it wouldn't be the first time or place that Served this as Goi Cuon Sauce. This took a long time to be brought out. Always brought to the Table immediately after the Order is put in at all the Other Vietnamese Restaurants I've been. Maybe those Other Restaurants Premake them and Store them in a Fridge or have a Cold Assembly Station. Fried Tofu - I LOVE Tofu, especially Fried! The Sauce was Not The Business, though. It looked more Appetizing in the Yelp Pictures than in Actuality. I should've just ordered the Salt & Pepper Tofu. Followed the Goi Cuon and took awhile as well, but I expected this to take awhile because Fried Tofu usually does. Pho Tai Sach - Large Bowl, Add Bo Vien, Tai On The Side. While ordering my Bowl of Pho, I stated "Pho Tai Sach" and Showed the Waitress by Pointing to it in the Menu. She walked towards the Counter, Stopped a couple steps short of it, and Turned Around to Confirm my Order. Seriously? Shouldn't you have done that Before Walking Away? "Twelve", she says. I reply, "No, Eleven." And I don't even have the Menu to look at anymore, but I Know For Sure it's 11!!! Broth was Totally Bland! Epic Fail! Sach was MIA, but I did find Tendons floating around and they made up for it with a Small Soup Cup of Tripe (remember I called it, that my order would get messed up, even after confirmation!!!). When I order Tai on the side, I expect a Plate of Thinly Sliced RAW Beef NOT a Small Soup Cup with the Tai Cooking in the Hot Broth. Fail FAil FAIl FAIL! This took awhile to be brought out. I've had this brought out before Appetizers and I'm usually dining on Apps and my Main Course simultaneously even if the App comes out First at Other Vietnamese Restaurants. I imagine those Other Restaurants Assembly consisting of Partially or Fully Hydrated Noodles sitting in Dry Small and Large Bowls, a Cold Station for RAW Meats, a Station for Cooked Meats (if they don't just have them swirling a Super Large Cauldron of Boiling Pho Broth), and a Cold Station for Veggies. But what do I know when it comes to the Kitchen of a Vietnamese Restaurant, I'm just speculating!

The place looks tidy and clean but the place smells greasy. The service was fast and the food taste okay. My husband had the steamed chicken dumplings which turned out to be the best thing from what we ordered... He also had chicken fried which was extremely salty. I had a big plate fried tofu for appetizer - it was very crispy but the sauce didn't have much flavor/ just plain sweet & sour sauce and the grilled chicken with white rice and egg and it was just salty enough- the fresh vegetables and plain rice was a good compliment. Total experience was fine but Im not sure if I'll be back...

Pho 98 has potential but seems to be slipping. While I'd like them to succeed I'm afraid they simply don't appear to have enough business to be sustainable. I've visited Pho 98 many times since they opened as I work within reasonable walking distance. On my first visit, the broth was clean and mildly spiced. The quality of meat is good and the quantity is on par with other local pho joints. I have noticed since then the broth is very inconsistent. It has tended to lean more towards the overly salty side recently which detracts from the intricate flavors expected from a good pho broth. This is especially true with their broth since it is not very aromatic. The only other thing I've tried besides the pho is the summer rolls. The summer rolls were not rolled properly which made them difficult to eat. I agree with a previous reviewer about the quality of the "peanut sauce". It does appear to be mostly hoisin which is not up to par with other local offerings. The search for high quality restaurants in the GB continues!

Thanks for bringing pho to Glen Burnie. Pho 98 is the wife of Pho 89 in Laurel. Basically, if you liked the husband's cooking, you will like the wife's cooking, too. It was the first time I took a phoTO GO as I was not really hungry at that time and was still shopping. Unfortunately, the noodles got sticky and the beef shreds were rare. I suggest that if you have TO TAKE OUT food that you cook the beef as the broth would not be warm enough to make the beef shreds well done. I forgot, it was only a microwave away. You could microwave it, but I don't know if the noodles will cooperate. I look forward to more warm, slurpee noodles soup relationship. Photanstic! Additional star for location. See also my other review on Pho 89 (3 stars).

Seen it many times when shopping at Shoprite, never been in before today but decided I really wanted a Pho and to give it a try; first impression wasn't great - I went in around 7:45 and there wasn't a single customer there!! Ordered the beef Pho (I think it was no. 9...the regular beef stuff...) and then the owner talked me into getting a starter - I chose the Summer rolls (side note for the other reviewer: it's NOT a Summer Spring roll!! That does not make sense!!) Anyway, went to pick up some cold beer at the liquor store and food was ready when I came back. I REALLY enjoyed the food!! The Pho was a nice big portion, consisting of three separate containers: one for the broth, one for the noodles and beef and one for the sprouts, peppers, basil and lime. Yes, it could have been a bit more beef and yes, the noodles were basically all in a big clump, but overall it was very yummy indeed - and the broth was flavorful, which is the most important part for me. The Summer rolls were also very good, very light - just delicious!!! I would most certainly get both items again - and I surely will, provided the place stays open....Prices were very reasonable - i paid just under $13 total.

A nice and new Vietnamese Resturant in Glen Burnie! Have been twice and very pleased. Very authentic Pho broth! If you like your broth not so salty or spicy this is the place for you! Great service and they do accept credit cards!

I've never left a review on yelp, but this was place was so bad I had to leave my first review. First, we sat down and the guy took our orders. My friend ordered a large pho, I got grilled chicken rice and fried egg, and we ordered the spring and summer rolls. Nobody came to bring us water. After waiting for about ten minutes we had to finally tell the server to bring us water. After another ten minutes the summer rolls finally come out. When the pho finally came out my friend said the broth and noodles weren't very good. After he was just about done with his pho my order came out. Then finally the spring rolls came out. Again, we had to tell the server to bring us more water. Only one other table was in there. My food was decent, my friend's not so much, but the service was horrible. Wouldn't recommend this place. And there's my first review on Yelp.

first time here, food was way to salty and the Service was not that good. Server English not that good but at least she was Somewhat friendly to us. Egg roles get the Two stars. Might give them A second chance if they have Better Menu.

Finally a decent Pho shop in Glen Burne. Same owner as the Pho shop in Laurel, she is awesome and always makes sure every customer is happy with their food.

Like their other store in Laurel, food is the same. I still prefer the pho at Saigon's. Fried rice is really good and go with the combo. If you like it spicy ask for it extra spicy! The summer rolls are decent but nothing to be excited over. Service is good and food came out quickly.

Horrible service, barely any meat in the pho along with over cooked noodles. Had to ask for standard side veggies and was given a single, wilted sprig of basil. When paying, cashier had to go next door to five below and purchase a monster energy drink to get my change. Never coming back.

I have no idea how this place has anything above two stars. Where do I begin... 1. Atmosphere: Talk about BORING. Big open windows are really nice, but with the empty space inside it felt too much like a school cafeteria than a restaurant. Where's the decor? And what's up with the R&B music? Don't get me wrong - I like that s**t. But in an Asian restaurant? I don't know - it felt kinda weird... 2. Service: Overall, not bad. They were polite, but my gripe here was the language barrier. With the exception of the manager, I'm not sure if any of them knew English. I tried asking simply if I had received the peanut sauce (it looked like hoison sauce) and the server literally had no idea what I was talking about. The more I asked, the more confused he was so I just dismissed it. 3. Food: Okay, the main stuff. The pho wasn't bad, but I've certainly had better. The summer spring rolls I had were just bad. It came out looking unappetizing (rolled with a half-assed sense of purpose), and the inside was pretty much just stuffed with noodles. I've had plenty of summer rolls before, and these were easily the worst I've ever had. I got myself a boba smoothie (coconut) and it was pretty much just big chunks of ice. Not only that, the boba was still frozen. I tossed it out after only drinking half (because I didn't want to wait an extra half hour for the rest of the ice to melt and boba to thaw). The price was reasonable, but considering the general quality of what I had, it's not worth it. And to think this was my friend's first taste of pho ever. This place was a pretty bad choice for a first experience. I won't be coming back.

We both got the pho with rounds steak and brisket and a spring roll. Not a ton of non-tripe options on the menu. I also didn't see pork options either. Spring roll was perfect- crispy, plump, cold, refreshing tasty fresh ingredients. The dipping sauce was a peanut-y hoisin like sauce, a bit too thick but tasty. Pho was pretty standard goodness. Broth was a but thin but the addition of sriracha and some plum sauce brought it to my favored flavor profile. I would return if in the area.

Thought we'd try the new Pho place in Glen Burnie. We were disappointed. Broth didn't taste right--over salted & tasted like they used a paste. Not the typical clean broth you get at Authentic Pho places. Meat add-ins were sparse. Rice paper roll had carrots and little herbs. It was served with a thick gooey hoisen-like sauce topped with a few crushed peanuts. The menu said it would be a peanut sauce.....okayyy...??? It was gross. I think they had the radio set to pandora 90's R&B. Okayyy..... And we weren't asked which size pho we wanted. They charged us for a large, but that bowl did not look like a large to me... Won't be going back.

I've eaten here twice. The first time I got standard beef pho and it was ok, maybe a 3/5 but I felt like it was a little on the pricey side for a pho place. Plus really skimpy on the limes, basil and jalapeños. Second time I decided to try something else and it was AWFUL. I decided to try their seafood pho expecting the fresh whole shrimp, clams and fish in fish/chicken base. What they brought to me was frozen shrimp, funky tasting small mussels, IMITATION CRAB MEAT (!) and some octopus (that was bizarrely enough fresh and tasty) in a bowl of beef pho broth. I honestly don't think they had any idea of how to make seafood pho and thinking back on my two dining experiences and the reviews here it is all adding up. For one the place seems to be always dead and I've never, not once seen a Vietnamese customer in there which is the opposite of nearby Ms Saigon. Speaking of Vietnamese; the staff don't sound Vietnamese... I don't speak a word of either language but they sound much more like Chinese to me- I could be totally wrong but something just seemed off. Now, they never have Vietnamese customers and they apparently don't know how to make any Vietnamese dishes properly other than the beef pho (my seafood pho experience and the multiple summer roll and peanut sauce stories here on yelp)... And again, I may be totally wrong but I get the feeling the owner is some Chinese guy that decided to try to cash in on the pho fad but really has no clue what he is doing beyond basic beef pho. Overall, it is slightly pricier than other pho places, the beef pho is average and the other food sucks. Go the two miles down the road for Ms Saigon. Oh and I had a stomach ache for hours after the seafood pho experience.

I walked in and there were 8 other guests. The place looks very new and clean. I ordered the lunch special for $10 - the chicken pho was excellent and the two spring rolls were nice too. I even asked for more fresh basil and they happily accommodated. And, the restroom was clean as we'll.

Chinese-owned. Doesn't taste like Vietnamese food. Not a huge fan of the R&B and hip hop playing in the background. The broth is anything but authentic and tastes very odd (artificial flavoring????). The noodles were good texture but because of the broth it tasted worse after eat bite. Very skimpy on the meat, garnishes and toppings. My bubble tea smoothie had rock hard tapioca pearls, was too sweet and super watery. Service was okay. This place caters to those who don't know what good pho or a good pho restaurant actually is!!! Anyone who calls this place authentic has no idea what they're talking about. I'm Vietnamese. I've eaten Pho my entire life. I've eaten Pho in Vietnam. I make Pho at home when I can't go out for it. I know the aroma and taste of authentic, good Pho. THIS PLACE IS NOT IT!!!!

Average pho... Decor was lacking, service was ok, and food was average. What really bugged me was that the water tasted chemically. Wouldn't recommend it.

I'd nevever tried pho before, but the food here was pretty on par. The broth had excellent flavor and the appetizers were great as well.
